The Perfect (Parisian) Spring Jacket

As you may already know, I am highly inspired by French art, culture, and fashion. So whenever I see something that reminds me of Parisian fashion (or anything French, really) I of course have to buy it. When I found this Pink Tartan jacket, I knew it was meant to be. The off-white colour, the large buttons, and the 3/4 sleeves are such a lovely combination. It is the perfect light layer for Spring, and reminds me of the kind of jacket a Parisian woman would wear.

I chose to wear one of my favourite purses with this look. I purchased this purse in France a few years ago (how fitting), and it is made by the Galeries Lafayette brand. The pearly shine and the off-white colour of the purse matched the jacket very nicely, and contrasted with the rest of my outfit. I wore my dark-wash Kate Spade Saturday skinny jeans and my favourite boots made by Clarks.

I also happened to be in a spot in downtown Toronto that had pretty architecture, cobblestone walkways, and beautiful masonry. Walking around this kind of an environment made me feel as though I was channeling my inner Parisian. All that I was missing was the Eiffel tower’s presence! (Check out my previous blog post where I display my favourite Parisian decorations, and show you how I recreate Paris in my own home here!)

Channelling my inner Parisian makes me very happy. Do you have any inner inspirations that make you happy?

All the best,
