Barefoot in the Park

Today I decided to go to the park with my sister, my guitar, and nothing on my feet. It felt quite nice walking on the grass with no barrier between my feet and the soil. There is something grounding and freeing about walking barefoot in the park.

I’ve been on the hunt for a long-sleeved romper for quite some time. It is the ideal combination of comfy, cute, and bohemian. Perfect for springtime. I was so glad when I came across this purple romper at American Eagle, because it was exactly what I was looking for. Normally, cinched-waist styles that flow both above and below the waist are unflattering. However, this romper fits perfectly. It even gracefully flows in the wind. I will definitely want to live in this romper throughout all of spring, because it is just so comfortable and effortless.

For accessories, I opted for my embossed leather purse. It was created by a skilled artisan in Cuba, and I bought it last summer while vacationing in Holguín. I chose this piece in light of this week’s #ChanelCruiseCuba fashion show. The light-brown colour of the leather pairs well with purple, and is a nice addition to the bohemian look. I also put on my golden Swarovski pendant necklace to add a touch of sparkle and shine to the outfit. My barefoot bohemian look was completed with my Simon & Patrick Luthier Guitar, and its nice, mellow sound.

I hope to spend many more sunny spring days barefoot in the park. Do you have any springtime plans?

All the best,
